Hospital Seri Manjung was built to replace Hospital Lumut which is located near Lumut Town approximately 10km from Seri Manjung City. HSM has been operational since March 1995. Hospital Seri Manjung is a referral hospital that provides service to nearby areas including Setiawan, Pengkalan Bahru, Lumut, Beruas, Pangkor, Pantai Remis and Changkat Melintang. The total number of beds gazetted in Hospital Hospital Seri Manjung till 31st of October 2021 is 305.

2023: Nephrology clinic started operation with 1 in-house Nephrologist.
2024: Rheumatoid clinic also started with 1 in-house Rheumatologist.
2025: 2 new buildings (Psychiatric ward and Outpatient Department) are expected to start their operation. ENT, dental and OMFS are expecting to be part of new therapeutic area in HSM.
Clinical Research Centre
Clinical Research Centre, Hospital Seri Manjung established since 2011 with collaboration of National Clinical Research Centre and Clinical Research Malaysia. The purpose of this unit are organised research related training, managing all clinical trial for IIR and ISR from start up to the end of trial project. This unit also provide consultation such as NMMR registration, protocol development, literature search, statistical consultation, manuscript write up and assist in submission for publication of research paper. First ISR initiated in 2012. Until now this unit was develop in number of research with availability of facilities, PIs and staffs at site.
