Sibu Hospital is the second largest hospital in Sarawak, Malaysia. This hospital is the secondary referral centre for eight district hospitals located in the central region of Sarawak, namely Kanowit, Kapit, Mukah, Dalat, Daro, Sarikei, Saratok, and Betong. Neurosurgical and neurological cases and certain other subspecialist referral from Bintulu Hospital are also referred to this hospital. It is the teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine, SEGi University and postgraduate training centres for many other allied health disciplines (e.g. nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, assistant medical officer, etc.)
