Metro Specialist Hospital (MSH) located in Sungai Petani, Kedah, commenced operations with only two shop lots and four specialists on July 5, 1993. It was then known as Bersatu Medical Centre. Later, it was renamed as Metro Specialist Hospital and was officially opened by Dato’ Chua Jui Meng, then Minister of Health on January 18, 1996.
On October 19, 2002 MSH proudly opened the doors of its new premises at No 1 Lorong Metro, Sungai Petani which has a more spacious and conducive environment to provide for further expansion and development.
